The twin Towers were the premier tallest landmark of New York City before their destruction. At present, the tallest skyscrapers of New York City are as follows:

The tallest landmark of New York City and the 15th in the world– the Empire State Building is a remarkable sight. The building was completed in less than 18 months. It has 100 floors and 2 observation spots. Located within the perfect heart of Manhattan amongst hotels, motels and bars, Empire State building is a popular tourist hit spot annually.

Owned buy the largest bank in USA, Bank of America Tower is a remarkable landmark. Standing at 1,200 feet, this tower is the 18th tallest building of the world!

Standing proudly at 1,046 feet is the Chrysler Building, built in 1930. This amazing sight has 77 floors and is frequently crowded with tourists.

Located at 8th Avenue, The New York Times building also stands at 1,046 feet. This unique landmark holds the prestige of being the 33rd tallest building of the world. The building is a well-established center of various events and activities in New York City.

Lying within the heart of the commercial center of New York City is the American International Building. The marvelous building is 952 feet tall ranking as the 44th tallest in the world! Formerly known as Cities Service Building, it is owned by AIG tax collector body of New York City.
