Free admissions to places of interest could be a relief to most of the aspiring tourists, especially if you are aspiring to tour a foreign country and more so if you are touring the country as a family as this would help reduce the cost. However, there is good news for all the tourists. New York possesses a number of tourist attractions, which offer free admissions. The five boroughs in the state are Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, The Bronx and Staten Island. Manhattan happens to be the most thrilling of them all. Starting with the central park, which is among the biggest locations with various free sights such as the Bow Bridge, Conservatory garden, Reservoir and the Bethesda fountain. The famous Plaza Hotel is situated opposite the Central Park, and in case you would like to take a good look at the stock exchange and any other financial institutions, then you can take a leisure walk along the Wall Street.
Another New York City attractions is the Empire State, one of its iconic buildings where admission is free at the ground level and payment only required if you want to gain admission to the observation deck. Ground Zero, the former neighbor of the twin towers is also close by.
A tour of New York will be incomplete if you fail to visit the Art Galleries and the Museums which are also part of the New York City attractions. Some of the museums will offer free admission while others will require you to pay for maintenance in form of small contributions. A view of the river could be taken as you walk along the Brooklyn Bridge and a free ride on the ferry takes you closer to Statue of Liberty and Straten Island. For shopping, you could visit stores on the Fifth Avenue for the best deals in New York.
